Studying in the Netherlands may bring up many different challenges. First of all studying in a foreign country can be rather stressful. You have to adept to a different study system and you also need to integrate in the Dutch culture and in the Dutch studentlife-culture. Beside this you may experience homesickness or experience other problems for example:

Payment
Preferably you have a student healthinsurance with AON. This insurance covers for all international students a treatment of at least 9 sessions with all our psychologists working at Psychologen Praktijk Stad Groningen. If you have a home country insurance or any other kind of insurance, you can pay the session yourself (130 euros, intake session 150 euros) and submit the invoice at your healthinsurance for refund.
Make an appointment
If you would like to make an appointment for an initial session you need to fill in the registration form.
AON insurance demands that you are referred by your general practitioner (GP). Your GP needs to write a letter of reference in which is stated that problems begun after the starting date of the insurance. You need to bring this letter to the initial session at Psychologenpraktijk Stad Groningen!
